An Update!

July 15, 2008

Yes, I’m actually updating this thing. It has been quite a while, dear old wordpress, but I feel that it is high time that I wrote something of some actual substance on this blog. Because blogs are fun!

Well, lately, I’ve been trying to get into shape for the cross country season. And trust me, eating supper less than 2 hours prior to running leaves one in a bit of abdominal pain. By a bit, I mean a lot. It’s rather like a small rodent (probably a mouse or a rat because I think that those ones right there eat meat) that I inadvertently swallowed while scarfing down my “pork and beans” (if you will) is gnawing at my stomach wall, attempting to escape. I’m sure that that would be quite a bit more painful, but as a growing lass, I feel the need to exaggerate nearly everything I say.

I’ve recently been attempting to teach myself hiragana and katakana. It has not worked out; however, this is mostly because the time where I finally remember to teach myself is around midnight (which is my normal bedtime, thank you very much). Unlike some of my dear friends (cough, miseryfortinseltown, cough), I really need to get at least a solid 6-7 hours of sleep, 9-12 over the summer. (Yes, folks, I am that lazy). I would really like to learn Japanese, partly because of my love of anime and manga and partly because of Japanese people. They are freaking amazing.

Speaking of east Asian languages, I tried to learn Chinese at a summer program. Ha. I basically failed at that. Chinese is difficult, even more so when one has to memorize 30 characters in a night. And by memorize, I mean know how to draw them. Yeah. Is that not absolutely fabulous? So I quit because I was getting all mopey and emo. Although, it was mildly amusing watching the graduate students and college students get drunk from my window. Spying is fun!

Ah, you know what else is fun? Video games. They are the joy of my life. I love video games. And the internet. That is fun too.

Well, so I just finished with school exams. I hope I didn’t fail because I sure don’t feel very comfortable about how I did.  But, ah well, they’re over now. I’m also rather nervous about my play. It’s rather failing right now. I just got an entire page of things to correct. Drama jargon is not really my strong point at all.

Blecch.

December 19, 2007

Wow. I really haven’t updated in a while. I think I just write this for my own enjoyment, basically. It’s all grammatically incorrect and such. Well, so anyway, I’ve been not very busy. Just extremely lazy. I’m kind of trying to get back into writing this because it is a rather enjoyable thing to do. I haven’t really found any new obsessions yet, so I’ll try and make a substansial post over Christmas break when I feel like getting all obsessed.

Hello all!

I haven’t updated in a really long time(aside from the little “omg! i exist! thats soooo 733t!”), and I figured that now was the chance! I’ve been wasting my life watching this:

So, yeah…. that’s a man….

Anyway, I just spent four hours of my life writing a contrived piece of junk for English. I lament the lack of quality in my writing. However, it rather pwns that of the proverbial “Average Joe,” so I won’t complain too much. Oh, and apparently the International Society of Poets wants me to join, based on this poem I wrote at two (ante meridian, folks) and decided to post on poetry dot com. They want me to send them money, more like it… Well, I’m definitely considering strongly as a college Washington University in St. Louis for the simple fact that they have a MEDIEVAL FIGHTING CLUB!!!!!! Or maybe Kent State…

Sign me up!

Hello!

July 14, 2007

Just wanted to update. I’m sick of this. Goodbye!

YES!

April 28, 2007

….Sorry….couldn’t think of a better title! I was dancing around to “What is Love” and I looked at my wrist. “Success!” thought I, “I have myself a watch tanline!” Yes. Watch tanlines are sexy! So I decided to write a post about that. I’ve been reading Sherlock Holmes…. eh hehehe….. I wish I had a pet Sherlock Holmes. He could do my homework and clean my room. Mr. Holmes is quite a clean person, I believe. He could use my basement for his random poison/chemical experiments. And he can actually play the violin. It would have been cooler if he played the armonica, but you can’t always get what you want. Just like Mick Jagger can’t get any younger or reverse the damage of years of drug taking. Yay! This really makes me angry. I can’t do umlauts. I would put them over every a, u, and o. I like umlauts! Woah! I just looked outside! The trees have leaves! Okay! Bye bye!

It’s April!

April 7, 2007

Happy April, all! I hope you are having a lovely Easter break! (Actually, I frankly don’t care, but I’ll be polite!) I’ve been watching Sailor Moon….in German. The dub is actually really good, better than the English. Anything is better than the English dub…. I promised myself I’d write some poetry, but I’m a lazy person. I’ll finish my ode tonight, and I’ll write two more tomorrow. Perhaps some silly little limericks or obsessive things that actually have a rhyme scheme and some meter. Plus, nonsense poetry is pretty fun, so I might write some of that. Er…OH YES! I ALSO LISTENED TO “WHAT IS LOVE?” THAT SONG IS AWESOME! asinineloquacity out!
